In cases of fuel combustion flue or warm exhaust streams, passive heat recovery of dismissed hot gaseous flow is suggested. In such cases the latent heat of water vapors can be recovered at lower temperature level by utilizing special design "condensing heat exchangers".
Due to the corrosive nature of many condensable flue gases (i.e. sulfuric acid), these heat exchangers are made of special materials that guarantee their compatibility and long prospected lifetime.
